By accessing, browsing, or using ClearLease ("Service", "Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately discontinue use of the Service.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service following any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

2. Nature of Service

ClearLease provides an AI-powered document analysis tool that:

• Summarizes key terms from lease agreements
• Identifies potential areas of concern
• Presents information in plain, non-legal language
• Generates reports based on automated analysis

Our Service is designed to help you better understand lease documents but is NOT a substitute for professional legal review.

4. AI Technology Limitations

Our Service uses artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to analyze documents. You acknowledge and understand that:

• AI systems may produce inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading results
• AI may fail to identify important terms, conditions, or risks
• AI analysis cannot replace human judgment, especially for legal matters
• Results may vary based on document quality, formatting, and complexity
• The AI may misinterpret ambiguous or complex legal language
• Local laws and regulations may affect the interpretation of lease terms

5. User Responsibilities

By using our Service, you agree to:

• Only upload documents you have the legal right to share and analyze
• Not upload documents containing sensitive personal information of third parties without their consent
• Independently verify all information provided by our Service
• Consult with a qualified attorney before making any legal decisions
• Use the Service for lawful purposes only
• Not rely solely on our analysis for any important decisions
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials

You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for your decisions regarding any lease agreement, regardless of information provided by our Service.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not:

• Use the Service to process documents you do not have rights to
• Attempt to overload, disrupt, or interfere with our systems
• Use automated systems, bots, or scrapers without permission
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
• Share your account access with unauthorized parties
• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Circumvent any security or access controls

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ClearLease, its officers, directors, employees, agents, affiliates, and licensors from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use or misuse of the Service
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any rights of any third party
• Any decisions made based on information from our Service
• Any lease agreements you enter into or decline to enter

10. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, content, algorithms, and underlying technology, is protected by intellectual property laws and is owned by or licensed to ClearLease.

You retain ownership of documents you upload. By uploading documents, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process them for the purpose of providing the Service. This license terminates when you delete your data or close your account.

11. Premium Services and Payments

Premium features are offered on a subscription basis. By subscribing, you agree to:

• Pay all fees associated with your subscription
• Automatic renewal unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Our refund policy as stated at the time of purchase

We reserve the right to modify pricing with notice to existing subscribers.

12. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features or the entire Service at any time without liability.

13. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access immediately, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms, is harmful to other users, or is otherwise objectionable. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.

14. Dispute Resolution

Arbitration Agreement: Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding arbitration, except for claims that may be brought in small claims court.

Class Action Waiver: You agree to resolve disputes only on an individual basis and not as part of any class, consolidated, or representative action.

Governing Law: These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and ClearLease regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
